It is centred on an electric arc furnace, a rolling mill for wire rod and another for reinforcing bars. Furthermore it is fitted with plants destined to the production of electrowelded girders, meshes and reinforcing structures for the building industry. Recently the company acquired the Siderpotenza steel plant, which produces billets and bars for reinforced concrete.

This sister company produces common and special cold drawn and cold rolled wires destined to various sectors: mechanics, car industry, manufacturing of electric appliances, furniture and plant spare parts. Always characterised by the good quality of products and by the constant assistance to the customer, SIAT is today the unquestioned leader in the production of cold drawn and cold rolled wires manufactured with wire rod with a low carbon content.

PITTARC produces wires for gas and submerged arc welding. The quality of Pittarc wires is guaranteed by production processes constantly monitored and by the use of raw materials poor in gas and impurities.

This company produces special electrowelded meshes, galvanized meshes and tailor made shapings according to customer’s needs. The product range is made up by standard products (electrowelded meshes and girders, straight reinforced bars, bars in coils, straightened drawn wire and drawn wire in coils), products for prefabrication (tailor made and shaped meshes, meshes for beams, Trafer girders, steel fibres and spacers) and products destined to building yards (Maplat system; bent meshes for tunnels; ashlar system for the inner covering of tunnels).

Trafilerie e Zincherie di Celano S.r.l. |

Costruito nel 1977, lo stabilimento di Celano (Abruzzo) è specializzato nelle lavorazioni speciali di filo (rivestimenti in zinco, Galfan, pvc). Nel 1998 sono stati ultimati i lavori di ampliamento dello stabilimento con la costruzione di trafileria e zincheria. Ampia è la gamma di produzione di fili metallici zincati per l’industria e per l’agricoltura.
